Charles EdwardBarman was born and raised in CedarLake andCrown Point,Indiana.Charles,who is called Chuck for short, has resided in Lake Countyhis whole life. He grew up around farm life and was active in sports as a teenager.After graduating from CrownPointHighSchool, he immediately went towork in the bustling steel mills of Northwest Indiana.After the boom years and 18 hard-working years of dedicated service,Chuck left and decided to become a construction superintendent in the City of Chicago.Chuck has managed construction sites such as:

Gately Football Stadium on Chicago’s SouthSide,
The MillenniumCarillonTower inNaperville,Illinois,
And numerous high-rises in Chicago.
Chuck feels he is diversified in all aspects of his work.He is committed and ready for new challenges with each project he starts.At present, Chuck is employed as the superintendent fora condominium onChicago'ssouthside. Chuck continues to live with his family in Crown Point,Indiana.He enjoys the small-town flair thatCrown Point,CedarLake and surrounding cities has to offer.He believes Northwest Indiana iscoveted by all surrounding states and is a great place to live and raise a family.Chuck believes in bringing jobs to this area, but opposes the overdevelopment of Northwest Indiana’s valuable resources and land. Last election, Chuck ran for U.S. Congress as an independent.This year he will be running as Republican in the May primary.Chuck believes that he can make a difference in U.S.government and change the direction our country has taken.
