Chuck’s family has owned a farm for over 150 years.Growing up, he understood the importance of a hard day’s work and what farmers have to do to provide for their family.Chuck believes that agriculture is one of Indiana’s main strengths. As the use of biodiesels and ethanol fuel are on the rise, he feels that Indiana can contribute and profit from producing the key elements used to manufacture these alternate fuels such as corn.The ever increasing demand for these alternate fuels statewide and Indiana’s abundant supply of corn and soybeans produce a great combination and advantage to promote our state.
If Chuck Barman is elected, he will ensure that farmers receive their fair share from companies buying their product. Also, Chuck would like to promote our state even further by convincing low-impact environmentally sound ethanol and biodiesel refineries to move to Indiana which would in turn create more jobs for our citizens.
